Golden Rock Hotel is situated amoung the rocks and trees on Kyaiktiyo hill approximately one mile from the famous Kyaiktiyo Pagoda at the top of the hill.

Golden Rock Hotel is the only hotel with modem facilities including 24-hour running water on the Kyaiktiyo hill. A mini-dam was built to collect water from a natural mountain spring for the exclusive use of the hotel.
