| Day 1 : Arrival - Yangon Arrive at Yangon Airport by flight. Welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to Hotel for check-in. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing to SHWEDAGON PAGODA - world famous golden stupa in the dome shape rises 98 meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold and CHAUKHTATGYI RECLINING BUDDHA IMAGE - a colossal reclining Buddha. Proceed to BOGYOKE (SCOTT) MARKET with time to browse among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains. Welcoming Dinner and Cultural show at KARAWEIK PALACE FLOATING RESTAURANT built in a style of Royal Barge used by the old days Kings. Your first night of stay in Yangon. Day 2 : Yangon - Bagan Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, leave Yangon for BAGAN by domestic flight. Begin Bagan full day sightseeing by coach such as NYAUNG OO MARKET, SHWEZIGON PAGODA - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; KYANSITTHA CAVE Monastery, WETKYI-IN GUBYAUKKYI - a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scene; TEMPLE, CITY GATE and LACQUERWARE INDUSTRY. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, continue sightseeing GAWDAWPLIN TEMPLE, ANANDA TEMPLE & OAKKYAUNG with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior; THATBYINNYU TEMPLE, SULAMANI TEMPLE, DAMAYANGYI TEMPLE and watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River from SHWESANDAW or MAHAZEDI PAGODA. Dinner and Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Day 3 : Bagan – Mandalay Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, leave Bagan for MANDALAY by domestic flight. After check-in at hotel, begin Mandalay full day sightseeing to SHWENANDAW KYAUNG or GOLDEN PALACE MONASTERY - a superb example of traditional wooden building, KUTHODAW PAGODA - known as the world's largest book from its 729 marble engraved with Buddhist scriptures; and ATUMASHI MONASTERY. Lunch will be arranged at local restaurant. End of the tour at MANDALAY HILL - for a panoramic view of the city. Free at own leisure until transfer for dinner. Day 4 : Mandalay Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, sightseeing to GOLD LEAF HAMMERING, MAHAMUNI PAGODA - with its spectacular Buddha image covered in thick layers of gold leaf, SHWEINBIN MONASTERY and KYWEZUN JETTY, follow by lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit MINGUN by boat. Visit famous UNFINISHED PAHTODAWGYI PAGODA, MINGUN BELL and its surrounding village. Evening enjoy the sunset view of mighty AYEYARWADDY RIVER & MIDDLE YOMA from the roof of the boat. Dinner at local restaurant. Day 5 : Mandalay - Heho Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, leave Mandalay for HEHO by domestic flight and then transfer to PINDAYA by coach. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing highlights include the scenic lake and PINDAYA CAVES - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries, traditional SHAN PAPER MAKING and UMBRELLA MAKING villages. Dinner at the local restaurant. Day 6 : Heho - Inle Lake Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, begins a full day excursion by boat on INLE LAKE which include sights of the famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Visits are made to FLOATING MARKET and PHAUNGDAWOO PAGODA. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, continue sightseeing the weaving village of INPAWKHON and NGAPHEKYAUNG MONASTERY – well know for its jumping cats and numerous collections of Buddha images and alters. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 7 : Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. Leave lnle for Heho by coach to fly to YANGON by domestic flight. Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, begin Yangon half day sightseeing such as KYAUKTAWGYI BUDDHA IMAGE – the world largest marble Buddha image curved from a single block of marble stone weight over 600 tons, MAHAPASANA CAVE - where sixth Buddhist synod took place; KABA AYE (World Peace) Pagoda, BOTATAUNG PAGODA, a famous landmark on Yangon waterfront and STRAND JETTY to see life on the Yangon river. Lastly, will visit CHINA TOWN. Dinner at the local restaurant. Day 8 : Yangon Departure After breakfast in hotel, transfer to airport for flight back to home. |
