| Day 1 : Arrival - Yangon
Arrive at Yangon Airport by flight.
Welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to Hotel for check-in.
Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing to SHWEDAGON
PAGODA - world famous golden stupa in the dome shape rises 98
meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold and
CHAUKHTATGYI RECLINING BUDDHA IMAGE - a colossal reclining
Buddha. Proceed to BOGYOKE (SCOTT) MARKET with time to browse
among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains. Welcoming Dinner
and Cultural show at KARAWEIK PALACE FLOATING RESTAURANT
built in a style of Royal Barge used by the old days Kings. Your
first night of stay in Yangon.
Day 2 : Yangon
After breakfast in hotel, full day
sightseeing tour of the old colonial style city center featuring
SULE PAGODA - a beautiful octagonal golden stupa, dating
over 2,000 years and BOTATAUNG PAGODA – a famous landmark
of Yangon City. After that, will visit the LOCAL GLASS BLOWING
FACTORY where you can see all the fanciful objects of glass
which were produced by ancient techniques. Later in the afternoon,
proceed to KYAUKTAWGYI BUDDHA IMAGE – the world largest
marble Buddha image curved from a single block of marble stone weight
over 600 tons, MAHAPASANA GUHA CAVE where the sixth Buddhist
synod took place, follow by KABA AYE (World Peace) Pagoda
and GEM MARKET where you can browse to world famous Myanmar
Rubies and Jades as well as various type of color stones. Lastly,
will visit CHINA TOWN. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3 : Yangon – Pyay
Early morning pick up at the hotel
departure for PYAY - 285 km North-West of Yangon by coach.
Arrive Pyay in the afternoon. Visit SRI KSETRA Ancient
capital flourished between 5th and 9th century 8km South East of
Pyay. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch, visit to Baw Baw Gyi &
Bè Bè Gyi Pagoda to admire the architectural ancient
stupes prototypes of Bagan Temples, and a visit to Archaeological
Museum at HMARZAR village. Dinner and Overnight at the hotel
in Pyay.
Day 4 : Pyay - Akaung Taung - Yangon
Early morning, boat trip to AKAUK
TAUNG (Custom Mountain), used to be a Custom gate for the dealers
sailed through AYEYARWADDY RIVER, and one can see the centuries
old pagodas on the wall of lime stone river's bank. On the way,
stop at MYOMA Village - a traditional old village which was
used to be a palace site of a queen during 8th centuries and famous
for its hand weaving handlooms. After visiting Akauk Taung, stop
at Htone Bo Village for transfer back to Pyay by car. Drive back
to Yangon. On arrival to Yangon, transfer back to the hotel. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Yangon Departure
After breakfast at hotel, transfer
to airport for flight back to your next destination. |
