Take a walk from your hotel to Bach Dang pier through the busy streets of Saigon in the morning (if your hotel is not located in the center, cyclo ride is provided) where you board on a motor boat for 3 hours cruise on Saigon river. No other places in Saigon that you could see the vivid contrast of urbanization and serenity of an underdevelopment area than along sides this river. One side is the centre of Saigon with high rise building and the other side is long lasting green dotted with thatched roof houses. Make some stops on the way to visit a local house, a fish farm and a lotus farm. |
