Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh City -
Vinh Long
We set off this morning for a drive through the Mekong Delta to
Cai Be floating market. Here we will board our private boat for
a cruise along the maize of waterways and canals to Vinh Long. We
will stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener for a sumptuous Delta
lunch, and to meet "Monty" before continuing our exploration of
the tributaries and canals of the delta. We spend tonight with a
family that have their home built on stilts over the water. (Lunch
& Dinner included)
Day 2 : Vinh Long - Ho Chi
Minh City
This morning we bid farewell to our hosts and board our riverboats
once more for a cruise to some floating markets and a handicraft
village. Following these visits we will once again board our vehicle
for the drive to the town of My Tho, where we will visit Dong Tam
snake farm, Vinh Trang pagoda and a local market before our journey
back to Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast included)
