Don Mueang International Airport
Located in Bangkok, Don Mueang International Airport is a main international airport in Southwest Asia. It has been open to the public since 1914. The IAIA code is DMK and the ICAO code is VTBD. The airlines, such as One-Two-Go Airline, Nor Air, Asia Air, Orient Thai, Thai Lion Air and New Gen Airway, are operating fights from Don Mueang International Airport.
Don Mueang International Airport is much closed to Bangkok downtown. You can go to Bangkok downtown by taxi, by shuttle bus and by train. The most convenient way to get to Bangkok downtown is by taxi. The taxi stand is located in front of the Arrival Halls International & Domestic Passenger Terminals. The taxi fare is charged according to the meters.
But you need to pay more than 50 baht which is airport surcharge.
If you do not want to take a taxi, you can go to take the shuttle bus A1 to Bangkok downtown. The fare from the airport to BTS MO CHIT station is 30 baht per person.

Suvarnabhumi International Airport
Suvarnabhumi International Airport is located in the east of Thailand, covering an area of 800 acres, which is 5 times bigger than Don Mueang International Airport. The terminal building is 563000 square meters, with 360 ticket gates, 196 entry and exit gates, 40 customs counters and 20 baggage conveyor belts. Its IAIA code is BKK and its ICAO code is VTBS.

Phuket International Airport
Phuket International Airport is located in the north of Phuket Island. The IAIA code of Phuket International Airport is HKT and the ICAO code is VTSP. Koh Samui Airport
Koh Samui Airport (IATA Code: USM; ICAO Code: VTSM) is a private airport located 2 km to the north of Chaweng in Koh Samui Island. Different from other airports, Koh Samui Airport is mostly in open air. Koh Samui Airport has two terminal buildings whose distance is only 50 meters. One is used for international flights; the other is used for domestic flights.
