Vietnam Cambodia 20 Days Tour Package

Day 1 Arrive in Hanoi

Flight: International flight on your own arrangment or on requests.
Meals: B

Arrive in Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be welcomed by your local tour guide and driver, then escort you to the hotel.

Check in hotel and relax.

Day 2 Full day Hanoi city, overnight train to Sapa

Train: Fansipan, 4 berth cabin (private cabin is possible by paying 4 berths) will be arranged by INT.
Meals: B / L / D

Take a Hanoi full day city tour to visit Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former residence (Closed on Monday, Friday and the whole of Oct & Nov), One-pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. After lunch, continue the tour to one of following Hanoi's museums: Fine Art, History, Revolutionary, War, Ethnology (of your choosing), then head to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Experience a one hour cyclo ride. Finish your day off at Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

In the evening, you will board the overnight train to Sapa to discover the mountain hill tribes.

Day 3 Arrive Sapa, Full day tour to Sun Day Market

Meals: B / L

Your train will arrive in Lao Chai in the early morning, your local tour guide will pick you up from the railway station then escort you for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will drive to Bac Ha Market (approximately 2 hours). Arriving at Bac Ha, visit the big outdoor market with its colorful ethnic minority people such as Flower Hmong; Phu La and Dao Tuyen gathering here to buy and sell their handicraft products. After visiting the market, leave Bac Ha Market for Trung Do Village to enjoy a magical water buffalo cart ride while traveling through amazing countryside inhabited by the happy and hospitable Tay minority people. Then travel by boat down the Chay River to experience the picturesque scenery and magnificent sights along the river.

After the boat trip, drive to Sapa and overnight at the lovely small town in Sapa for overnight.

Day 4 Half day tour Muong Hoa Valley, overnight train back to Hanoi

Train: Fansipan, 4 berth cabin (private cabin is possible by paying 4 berths) will be arranged by INT.

Enjoy some relaxing time in the morning and enjoy breakfast at hotel.

Today we will have a half day tour to discover the black H’mong ethnic people who lives along the Muong Hoa Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in northwest Vietnam. Descending into the valley by foot, you will see the largest terraced paddy of Sapa (If the tour taken in May or October, the view ofrice & vegetables in harvest is outstanding). A short walk takes you from Lao Chai village of the Black H'mong minority to Ta Van village of the Giay minority, enjoying the chance to see the different traditions and costumes of these two ethnic minority groups.

In the evening, transfer back to Lao Cai train station for overnight train back to Hanoi.

Day 5 Arrive Hanoi, Halong Bay Cruise

Meals: B / L / D

You will arrive at Hanoi train station in early morning, after your tour guide pick you up from railway station, you will have a short visit to the morning flower market in Hanoi city to be refreshed.

After breakfast in city, you will be transport to Halong Bay for a 2 day 1 night cruise.

Day 6 Halong Bay Cruise, fly to Hue

Flight: domestic flight from Hanoi to Hue will be arranged by INT.
Meals: B

Enjoy 2nd day on Halong Bay crusie. You will finish Halong Bay cruise around 11:00am then disembark.

You local guide will pick you from the port then transfer you to Hanoi airport for onward flight to Hue.

Upon arrive at Hue, you will meet your local guide at the airport then escort to hotel and check in.  

Day 7 Full day Hue city tour

Meals: B / L

Enjoy a full day city tour to visit Hue Citadel - Vietnam’s former imperial capital and recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. With an area of 500 ha and a system of three circles of ramparts, namely from outside to inside: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel) and Khai Dinh Tomb, Hue Citadel is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern.

Afternoon, take a cruise along the Perfume River, visiting Minh Mang Tomb (one of Nguyen Emperors).

Back to the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda - an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601.Stop at Dong Ba market for shopping.

Day 8 Transfer to Hoian

Meals: B

Enjoy free time in the morning.

In the afternoon, we will be driven to Hoian by private car. Upon arrive in Hoian, we will check in hotel and rest of the day is leisure time on your own.

Day 9 Full day tour Myson and Hoian

Meals: B / L

Morning, transfer to visit Myson - Vietnam's most important Cham’s site. Myson became a religious center in the late 4th century and lasted till 13th century – a longest period of development of any monument in Southeast Asia. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, continue to visit Hoian ancient town - one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century and was declared a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. There are plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tamky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda.

Day 10 Full day fishermen experience tour

Meals: B / L

One day "Hoian fishermen” brings you to CamKim fishing village. Here, take small boats to visit charming river sights where you are instructed to row boats, spread a net, put the bow-net, catch fish…Join a riverside restaurant with a ready cooker prepared for you to cook what you have caught from the river.Enjoy the food with a glass of country wine. Finish lunch with a nice cup of tea while making fishing nets, singing & chatting with local fishermen. Before the end of tour, take a short biking to Cua Dai for photographing, watching the sunset by the sea or to Bay Mau coconut forest, Thuan Tinh eco- tourism zone… Finish the tour at your hotel.

Day 11 Free time in Hoian

Meals: B

Enjoy free time in Hoian and discover the lovely ancient town, or enjoy the Hoian beach.

Day 12 Fly to Nha Trang

Flight: domestic flight from Danang to Nha Trang will be arranged by INT.
Meals: B

Transfer to Danang airport and fly to Nha Trang. Pick up from airport then transfer to hotel by private car, check in hotel and relax.

Day 13 Nha Trang full day tour

Meals: B / L

Enjoy a full day city tour to visit Nhatrang's major sights including Por Naga Tower, the Oceanographic Institute, Bao Dai villa (built on the hill and surrounded by the poetic scenery).Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, continue to visit Hon Chong Rock formation, Mountain church, Exhibition hall and Dam market.

Day 14 Free time in Nha Trang

Meals: B

Enjoy Free time in Nha Trang.

Day 15 Fly to HCMC, Chu Chi Tunnels

Flight: domestic flight from Nha Trang to HCMC will be arranged by INT.

Fly to Ho Chi Minh. Start the day with a visit to Cu Chi Tunnels. The Vietnamese are proud of their resolve in their prolonged history of struggle against invading armies, and the story of the people of Cu Chi is indicative of that spirit. The residents of Cu Chi then took their war underground, literally, developing a network of tunnels that, at its height, stretched as far as Cambodia and included meeting rooms, kitchens, and triage areas.

After lunch, take a visit to Reunification Palace (the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975), Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office, Cho lon - the Chinatown of Ho Chi Minh City and the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai), one of the most interesting pagodas in Vietnam.

Day 16 Full day tour Mekong Delta

Meals: B / L

Today take an excursion to My Tho, passing miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling High Way. On arrival at My Tho, board a Mekong cruise boat to Thoi Son Island where you will be entertained with traditional music. Then change to a paddleboat to cruise through the narrow canals and visit home-madeproduct kilns for coconut candies and rice-wine...Then take a motorized boat to travel to another Mekong island to visit a bee farm and taste some tea with fresh honey from the beehives and fresh seasonal local fruits.

Return to My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, drive to Can Tho& check in and free at leisure.

Day 17 Morning floating market, fly to Siem Reap

Flight: domestic flight from HCMC to Siem Reap will be arranged by INT.
Meals: B / L

Morning, depart Ninh Kieu wharf by shuttle-boat, enjoy watching bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. Particularly, you may know how local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps and how they transport passengers as well as products by waterway. Then take part in Cai Rang Floating Market to enjoy selling & buying activities with the traditional signal “offering pole” (exchanging goods hung on the pole to introduce people what the boat is selling). To understand more about lifestyle over here, keep on going into the small creeks called Rach Nho in which the Southern countryside can be seen clearly before cruising back to Ninh Kieu Wharf.

In the afternoon, transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport for onward flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrive in Siem Reap, you will meet your local guide and then escort to hotel to check in.

Day 18 Full Day Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm & Angkor Wat

Meals: B / L

After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic is perfect for you to travel in a Tuk Tuk to visit the ancient city Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will starts from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung, then continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which fame as “smile of Angkor”.  You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

When weather gets hot, your driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while transferring you to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.

In the afternoon, your private guide will escort you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temle complex and the largest religious monument in the world. On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Day 19 Tonle Sap Lake, Ox Cart Ride

Meals: B / L

In the morning, visit a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake - Tonle Sap Lake. You will firstly enjoy a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, continue to have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake which is called Kompong Phluk, to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water.

Rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax.

Day 20 Siem Reap Departure

International flight on client’s own arrangement.
Meals: B / L

Free time in the morning.
In the afternoon, transfer to airport for homeward flight.
