How to Get to Cambodia from Malaysia?
With a long distance of about 1985 kilometers, the fastest and most convenient way to get to Cambodia from Malaysia is to take a flight.
You can fly directly from Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, to Cambodia’s main cities like Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. The flights from Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap and Sihanoukville take about 5 and a half hours. If you fly to Phnom Penh from Kuala Lumpur, about 6 hours are required. You can also depart from Senai in Malaysia, the flights from here to Phnom Penh take you around 8 hours.
If you want to experience the train from Malaysia to Cambodia, it works as well. The train starts from Kuala Lumpur, stops at Padang Besar, and finally arrives in Phnom Penh, taking around 41 and a half hours. Do remember to pack plenty of snacks for your stay on the train.
