Myanmar is an ideal place for those who have a preference for hot weather. In Myanmar, there are amount of sunshine all year around, even during the rainy season. However, there are still a peak season for regular tourists to visit, which is between November and February when it rains least and the temperature is not too hot. Peak tourist season means crowd and expensive cost, so another suitable time is October when the weather is still good and cooler and less tourists. Thus, you can have a more comfortable and private tour in Myanmar with your friends and relatives.
The best time to visit Mandalay is from the months of November to February. During this period, the weather is pleasant with the temperatures up to about 30°C and fall sharply to 15°C. With this kind of weather, you are going to have a wonderful tour in Mandalay. However, if you want to experience less crowds and unique scenery, you can also visit in the off season. From June to October, heavy rainfalls usually occur and the temperature is high.
The best time to visit Bagan must be in the cool time. It will be hot and uncomfortable to visit temples in hot days. So, the cool months in Bagan is from November to February when the temperatures are not high. Tourists shoould avoid the months from February to May when the temperatures may reach 40°C. If you choose to visit during this time, you may only got the time in the morning and afternoon when the sunshine is not that strong. And the rainy season from June to October may experience regular rainfalls.
For Yangon, the climate in December to January is perfect with average temperature of 33°C . From February to May, the temperature will reach 38°C with higher humidity. And the temperatures will get down to 32°C and it will rains a lot from June to September. So, the best time to visit Yangon is from November to February. During this peak season, the climate will be cooler and drier, which is comfortable to have a good time there.
