Welcome to Yangon! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to hotel for check-in.
After some rest, enjoy your free time to wander the Bogyoke Market. Then stroll around the busy streets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finally, end today’s tour with an amazing sunset view at Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Yangon.

Drive to the airport for onward flight to Kyaing Tong. Upon arrival, Your local guide and driver will pick you up and bring you to have an excursion in the town of Kyaing Tong.
Walk around the streets along the Naung Tong Lake to see the signature of Chinese and colonial architecture. Visit Wat Jong Kham, a gilded stupa rising above the lakeside, and Maha Myat Muni Pagoda.
In the afternoon, take your time to climb up the One Tree Hill to see the 265 years old tree and a beautiful sunset.

Today, you will trek to the Pin Tauk region that locates the north of Kyaing Tong. On the way to Pin Tauk, visit the village of Yan Law and its Khun tribes, as well as the village of Wan Pauk and its Red Palaung tribes.
Upon arrival, enjoy your scenic trek in Pin Tauk region and meet the tribes of Akha and Ann in Pan Lea village. Then, you will drive back to Kyaing Tong.

Today's trek will take you to the southeast of Kyaing Tong, the Hokyin region. After about a one-hour drive to Pankwai Hill, you begin trekking. Before arriving at the villages, you trek through the beautiful green rice terraces.
There are four Akha villages with different religions and beliefs. Akha women wear their traditional clothes with linked silver beads. And it takes more than an hour for them to get fully dressed in their costume.
Return to Kyaing Tong in the afternoon.

After breakfast, trek to Loimwe, an old colonial town with several ethnic groups. Along the trail, you will pass through lush forests, terraced rice fields and a stunning lake. Several villages are waiting to explore. Some Akha tribes live in the Akha village of Ho Lup. The former hunters, Naung Cho Wa tribes live on pears and other fruit nowadays.
In the late afternoon, drive back to Kyaing Tong.

Helen and Ivy were extremely patient, efficient and speedy with what was a very challenging ask for a busy tour of 3 countries in 24 days. how they managed to orchestrate private cars, taxis, ferry, internal flights and 11 hotels without any hiccups was quite extraordinary.

Our trip was amazing!
It was organised by IndoChina by Srevpov and Kea.
They are very helpful, took complete notice of our requirements and ensured all happened as expected.
I also must our guide Chan who was perfect. He knew everything, took our wishes into account and was always on time.
We started in Siem Reap and were taken care of our guide Chan and our driver.
Our hotel, The Aviary was lovely. Spacious and light and there was a swimming and a bar which served food as well.
Our first day we were taken to the Landmine Museum, which was as expected very sad albeit interesting.
We stopped for a lovely lunch and after the went to the Museum of Buddahs.
A very impressing museum with over 1,000 Buddahs on display.
A return to the Aviary for a dip in the bath before we went out on the town, to Pop Street.
Very popular, especially for the food and entertainment.
One our second day we went to Angkor Wat which was amazing and very, very impressive and interesting. Not one to miss!
One our last day there was festivities as it was the first day of New Years Day in Cambodia.
After that we were taken on a boot trip where we stopped for a drink before being taken to the airport to make for our next stop going to Laos. I would definitely recommend IndoChina to organise your trip and absolutely not miss out on a trip to Siem Reap and Cambodia or any of the bordering countries!


Having visited Vietnam last year, we engaged Srey for the second consecutive year, and our trust was well-placed. This time, we explored Thailand from north to south with daily excursions and a private guide. Overall, the experience was fantastic.
