Welcome to Siem Reap! Upon arrival, meet up with the tour guide at Siem Reap International Airport. Then, your will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.

Day 2 Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat

Today, begin your exploration of the remains of Khmer Empire that once ruled much of Southeast Asia. Angkor served as the seat of the empire.
In the morning, tour the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom. First on the agenda is Ta Prohm. Huge silk-cotton trees and strangler figs grow over, around, and through the ancient stone blocks. The temple would make you feel as if you are in an adventure movie set.
Then, visit Banteay Kdei, a kind of smaller version of Ta Prohm. Continue to Victory Gate, Terrace of the Leper King, Royal Palace, Baphuon Temple and Bayon Temple. Bayon sets itself apart with its 200 smiling faces, sure to make you feel welcomed. With winding tunnels, chambers, and climbs, Bayon offers many exciting moments to keep your camera busy.
In the afternoon, head to visit Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. Angkor Wat possesses some of the longest and most intricate stone carvings. Spend the afternoon fully exploring the passages, levels, and chambers that once housed many treasures of the flourishing kingdom.

Day 3 Banteay Srei, Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk

In the morning, head towards the deep jungle to visit Banteay Srei. The temple is carved from red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to elaborate wall carvings, which are well preserved to this day.
After lunch, take a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake - Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll take a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake views and mangrove forests. Then, tour Kompong Phluk, the largest village on the lake, to discover the fascinating daily lifestyle of the local people who live on the water.

Day 4 Embark the Cruise to Kampong Chhnang

After breakfast, you guide will transfer you to Kompong Thom where you will jump onto a small boat for an exciting ride on Stung Sean River. You will pass through the unique Chnouk Tru floating village, which sits on the expansive Tonle Sap Lake renowned for the fishing communities that live their life on the water, with floating schools, temples and homes aplenty.
From here, you will embark a cruise, where you will be greeted by our Cruise members with a welcome drink before settling into the sumptuous cabin. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising toward Kampong Chhnang, a town famous for fish farming, pottery ware.
We will enjoy dinner and spend the night here on Tonle Sap River.

Day 5 Kampong Chhnang to Koh Chen

Start the day with a hearty breakfast, and then you will transfer to land via a smaller boat to visit the pottery village. Tuk tuks will be used to get around the villages, which is a perfect way to watch the stunning rural scenery pass by.
After that, you will return to the cruise for lunch. While the cruise sail towards Kampong Tralach, enjoy your leisure time over the magnificent water landscape, watching fishermen float by on wooden boats, waving to excited children on the shore.
In Kampong Tralach, you will experience an Ox Cart ride, a traditional mode of transport that is still used in Cambodia's rural areas today. The ride will take you to Kampong Tralach Temple which was built in 1841.
Then return back to the cruise and continue towards Oudong, the ancient Cambodian capital. Between 1618 and 1866, Oudong served as the country’s capital before relocating to Phnom Penh. The cruise will dock at Koh Chen, also known as Chinese Island, a small village of whose inhabitants specialize in silver and copper smiting.

Day 6 Koh Chen to Phnom Penh, Disembark the Cruise

In the morning, you will go ashore and visit an Oudong Temple that sits on top of a mountain. Tackling the 509 steps to the peak, you will be rewarded with unparalleled views and a numerous of historic stupors, tombs and memorials to explore.
Then, return to the cruise for a leisurely lunch and enjoy relaxing afternoon while navigating towards Phnom Penh. On arrival, you will disembark the cruise.

Day 7 Phnom Penh City Highlights

Start the day with a Tuk-tuk ride to visit the Silver Pagoda which is decorated with about 5000 silver tiles on the floor and the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. After that, tour the National Museum where you can see a large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture.
In the afternoon, head straight to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to delve into the sad past of Khmer people. Accompanied by the knowledgeable guide, you will see the exhibitions in the museum and then pay a visit to Choueng Ek Memorial, a pagoda constructed out of over 8000 human skulls excavated from the Killing Fields.

Day 8 Mekong Island

In the morning, visit the Royal University of Fine Arts where the young Cambodians learn the ancient arts of their ancestors.
Then, take a boat trip along the Mekong River to Koh Dach(Mekong Island) a great place to see beautiful countryside and farmlands.
The island is dubbed as the Cambodia’s silk weaving center. You can try to weave silk or buy some silk fabric directly from producers. Except for silk, the island is also known for its fresh crops and fruit products like beans, corn, bananas and sesame.
After that, aboard a boat back to Phnom Penh and catch a sunset cruise down the Mekong River.

Day 9 Phnom Penh Departure
