During these months, the weather is cool and dry, making it perfect for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The skies are usually clear, offering stunning views of the bay's limestone islands. From March to April, the temperatures are warmer but still pleasant.

Charming organisation

Helen and Ivy were extremely patient, efficient and speedy with what was a very challenging ask for a busy tour of 3 countries in 24 days. how they managed to orchestrate private cars, taxis, ferry, internal flights and 11 hotels without any hiccups was quite extraordinary.

constantly charming, nothing to much trouble (but quite sure I drove them mad every time we changed our plans!). Personally I would like the two of them to come and organise our lives for ever! Thank you.

Amazing trip to Siem Reap organised by IndoChina.

Our trip was amazing!

It was organised by IndoChina by Srevpov and Kea.

They are very helpful, took complete notice of our requirements and ensured all happened as expected.

I also must our guide Chan who was perfect. He knew everything, took our wishes into account and was always on time.

We started in Siem Reap and were taken care of our guide Chan and our driver.

Our hotel, The Aviary was lovely. Spacious and light and there was a swimming and a bar which served food as well.

Our first day we were taken to the Landmine Museum, which was as expected very sad albeit interesting.

We stopped for a lovely lunch and after the went to the Museum of Buddahs.

A very impressing museum with over 1,000 Buddahs on display.

A return to the Aviary for a dip in the bath before we went out on the town, to Pop Street.

Very popular, especially for the food and entertainment.

One our second day we went to Angkor Wat which was amazing and very, very impressive and interesting. Not one to miss!

One our last day there was festivities as it was the first day of New Years Day in Cambodia.

After that we were taken on a boot trip where we stopped for a drink before being taken to the airport to make for our next stop going to Laos. I would definitely recommend IndoChina to organise your trip and absolutely not miss out on a trip to Siem Reap and Cambodia or any of the bordering countries!

Family Tour in Thailand

Having visited Vietnam last year, we engaged Srey for the second consecutive year, and our trust was well-placed. This time, we explored Thailand from north to south with daily excursions and a private guide. Overall, the experience was fantastic. The itinerary and attractions were consistently engaging, even for our children (aged 9 and 12), and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Thailand.

We particularly appreciated the elephant experience, our stay at the floating hotel, and our guide Jira, who looked after us in Bangkok with dedication and discretion.

Furthermore, Indochina Tour's ongoing assistance with check-in and accommodation changes has been nothing short of outstanding. If you are a family with diverse needs, seeking an authentic experience, and have limited time due to the school calendar, we highly recommend maximizing your exploration of a large area like Thailand by engaging a serious and local tour operator such as Indochina Tour.

Thank you, Srey, Kea, and the entire team!

Highlights of Vietnam North to South (14 Days)

It's hard to put into words how amazing this trip was. From the accommodations, service, food, and daily activities/excursions, everything was outstanding – not to mention our wonderful guides who were all knowledgeable, authentic and friendly.

Even before we left, the level of professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by our Indochina Tour advisors, Amara and Kea, made me confident that this would be a really good trip.... but even with the bar set high, this trip far exceeded all our expectations still.

I would 100% consider using IndochinaTour.com for planning another trip in the region, and highly recommend them to anyone else who is considering one.

Stellar tour company

We had such a truly amazing time in Cambodia and Thailand with the private tour Indochina Tours planned for us..we decided we needed to go to Vietnam next year with the help of Indochina tours.

Ivy Wu who worked with me endlessly to plan the itinerary and especially Helen Chhour, the in-country contact in Cambodia, were simply stellar in their customer service and knowledge of the country and so willing to make changes due to some last minute health issues of my husband, changing our tours to private when needed to accomodate his problems walking and securing better seating and kid glove service on our flights. Simply superb.

We loved the tour guides and drivers in Cambodia and Thailand (especially Chen Suon in Cambodia...he was wonderful and kind in dealing with Eric's issues, but also warm and friendly and knowledgable in so many ways).

Just stellar all round.

FAQs & Useful Travel Guide for Planning Halong Bay Cruise

Is it worth going to Halong Bay?

Yes, of course! It is a natural attraction in Vietnam and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It covers more than 1,600 islets in the bay. Halong Bay is way famous for its limestone karsts which were worn down by 500 million years of tropical downpours. You get to see it for sure!

How much does the Halong Bay cruise cost?

The price for a Halong Bay cruise differs according to your cruise days and the level of service. Usually, a basic one-day cruise may cost around $50 per person. And you can also expect $500 for a luxury cruise tour for three days!

Should I do 2 or 3 day cruise in Halong Bay?

Most of the visitors choose to go for a 2-day and 1-night cruise trip for a stop in Halong City so that they have extra time to discover the other parts of the cities in Vietnam. If you have enough time, a 3-day cruise is also good for you to enjoy the fullest of Halong Bay’s enchantment!

Is Halong Bay safe?
Definitely yes! Make sure you stay in the right places and follow the safety rules and instructions when you’re swimming. When night falls, keep yourself around the people and do not go deep into nowhere to avoid the danger of slipping and drowning.
Are there dolphins in Halong Bay?

Well, it depends on where you’re in. If lucky enough, you can see the cute and active dolphins on the water in Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay. But do not be upset! There are also colorful fish and lovely seals coming up. Coastal mangroves and coral reefs are all under your eyes on an ecosystem tour in Halong Bay.

Which island is best to stay in Halong Bay?

It would be Cat Ba Island, the largest island in Halong Bay! Emerged as a tourism heat in recent years, Cat Ba Island spans around 260 sq km. You can get a fancy view over there for its stunning scenery and wealth of outdoor activities. Cat Ba terrain is one of the best parts of its karst topography.

Is Halong Bay too touristy?

Halong Bay has been always an attractive place for tourists around the world. We can’t avoid the crowds entirely but have the choice to go visit Bai Tu Long Bay or Lan Ha Bay if you want to stay away from the crowds.
