1 Days Classic Cambodia and Vietnam Nature Tour

Day 1 Saigon arrival

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on request.

Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Once you have checked in and had a chance to freshen up, you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure to relax, explore the city or enjoy some delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

Day 2 Mekong Delta Discovery: My Tho

Meals: B / L

After a delicious breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will pick you up for a full-day exploration of the Mekong Delta. Your first stop will be in My Tho, a town that is famous for its fruit orchards, which supply produce to the entire country. You will take a boat ride along the Mekong River, passing by lush green scenery and stilted houses on the river banks.

Your next stop will be in An Khanh, a local village where you will see a traditional Vietnamese house and have the opportunity to taste some of the local fruits. You will then take a short cycling trip through the island, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and interacting with the friendly locals. You will then return to Saigon in the late afternoon and spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 3 Saigon City Tour, Flight from Saigon to Siem Reap

Flight: Domestic flights include and arranged by Indochina Tour

Meals: B / L

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up for a full-day city tour of Saigon. You will visit the iconic Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. You will then visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture, followed by the Old Saigon Post Office, which Gustave Eiffel designed.

You will then visit Cholon, known as the city’s Chinese d. Here, you will visit the Emperor Jade Pagoda, district one of Saigon's most famous and revered temples. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.

Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Then you have the evening to relax and explore the town.

Day 4 Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat

Meals: B / L

After an early breakfast, you will begin your exploration of the Angkor temples. Your first stop will be Angkor Thom, which was the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Here, you will see the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, and the Phimeanakas.

You will then visit the world-famous Angkor Wat, which is the largest religious monument in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This temple complex is an architectural masterpiece and one of Cambodia's most iconic and recognizable symbols.

After exploring Angkor Wat, you will return to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and explore Siem Reap.

Day 5 Banteay Srei, Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk

Meals: B / L

Start your day early with a visit to the stunning Banteay Srei temple. Admire the intricate carvings and pink sandstone architecture of this 10th-century temple.

Next, head to the nearby Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Take a boat ride to explore the floating villages and see how the locals live on the water.

Continue your adventure with a trip to Kompong Phluk, a charming village on stilts. Walk through the picturesque houses and observe the unique lifestyle of the people living in this traditional Cambodian village. And then enjoy a delicious lunch of local Khmer cuisine before returning to Siem Reap.

Day 6 Beng Mealea, flight from Siem Reap to Hanoi

Today, you'll visit Beng Mealea, a sprawling temple complex located in the jungle. Explore the ruins and admire the impressive architecture of this 12th-century temple. Take a flight from Siem Reap to Hanoi, the vibrant capital of Vietnam.

Check into your hotel and relax for a while before heading out to explore the city. Wander through the bustling Old Quarter, where narrow streets are lined with shops and vendors selling everything from street food to souvenirs.

Experience a traditional water puppet show, a unique art form that originated in the villages of the Red River Delta. End your day with a delicious dinner of Vietnamese cuisine, perhaps sampling some of the famous pho or banh mi.

Day 7 Hanoi Day Tour, Hanoi Departure

Morning, start a full-day city tour beginning with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. Explore Ba Dinh Square, an important point of pilgrimage for many Vietnamese, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the rural style Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he lived and worked.

Stop by one of Hanoi’s icons, the One Pillar Pagoda, built in the 11th Century in dedication to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, or Buddha of Compassion, and reminiscent of a lotus blossom rising from a pond. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam, was built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages, and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue the city tour to one of the museums (Fine Art, History, Revolutionary, War, Ethnology Museum) of your choice (closed on Monday), Hoan Kiem Lake, and Ngoc Son Temple, and experience a one-hour cyclo tour.

In the late afternoon, our tour guide will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
