This hotel is in such a lovely location, you feel you're in Vietnam rather than stuffed in a tourist corner yet it's not a far drive from all the souveniers you could want. The hotel is beautifully clean and the staff are extremely helpful, always making sure you have an address card for an easy return and willing to help you find fun places to see and eat at. The pool on the rooftop is a relaxing retreat and offers amazing views of the skyline at sunset.

I've reviewed this excellent modern hotel on a number of occasions, but since I return regularly and have just come back from a month-long stay (December-Jan) I want to say yet again how consistently happy I've been with the facilities and service. The staff make a tremendous effort to be courteous and super-helpful, and what's on offer compares very favourably with standards at pricier places. The rooms are bright and super-clean, and the pleasant French Quarter location is central (DO NOTE: THIS IS NOT a hotel in the noisy Old Quarter!) - from the Prestige it's 10 mins walk or 4-5 mins by taxi to the Opera House; 15 mins walk or a short taxi ride to lovely Hoan Kiem lake area; very close to excellent foreigner-friendly restaurants such as Au Lac House.
