“Half-way stop on Mekong”

A stunning location for overnight stay in middle of two day cruise down the Mekong from the Thai border to Luang Prabang. Lovely Eco friendly lodge with excellent staff, good food and well equipped lodges. Super views over the river made for a relaxing nights stay in an unusual setting.

What an amazing experience! The crew were delightful, and very attentive to our needs. Food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the culture in the villages we visited, various ethnic groups, education and beliefs. Our stay in the lodge at Pakbeng was wonderful! I highly recommend this trip.
