“Colonial charm”

Ansara is in a lane in the midst of all the must-do things of Vientiane. The swimming pool is a good size and an elegant addition to this fine property. The rooms have a simple comfortable elegance that rests the weary sightseer.
The staff is charming and engaging in a friendly, but efficient way. I was very happy with my short stay.

If you get a chance this is a must stay hotel. From the service, the food, rooms, property, and pool! The previous reviews on the noise are so wrong. They are expanding and the construction is not an issue. The garden is lovely and very pleasant when waking up each morning. Centrally located and a short walk to great restaurants. A must try is the Ansara restaurant very authentically cooked and served French food.
