“Warm welcome on a cold evening”

We were a bit surprised by the drop in temperature after the sun went down, but no problem with borrowing a heater for the room, and extra duvets for us mollycoddled English! The room was big and clean - no problems with anything; the restaurant was cosy ( a real fire! ) and the food was excellent (try the grilled fish and fries ...).
“Great place to stay when visiting the jars”

We made a flying visit to the plain of jars, arriving at lunchtime one day and leaving the next. The Vansana was a great place to stay for the night, rooms fabulous. We ended up eating lunch and dinner at the restaurant as we were too tired to make walk down to the main Street. Meals were fine. Staff very friendly. Would recommend this hotel.
