“Great Location, Fantastic Room, Wonderful Staff, Excellent Value”

I bought a package tour deal for 13 nights directly from Hanlong Tours which was less than $1,000 per head. The hotels, most meal, tours and travel was all included. We were surprized but delighted at the standard of this hotel, considering what we paid - this hotel is budget in price only. As others guests have stated, the staff were fantastic and friendly and in particular one young lady receptionist with perfect English, (whose name escapes me).

The breakfast was delicious, the evening restaurant serves a great nasi goring. We had a large room with a wall of glass overlooking Hanoi traffic (double glazed - no noise), fascinating. Location in in the old quarter. I would highly recommend this hotel, even if you are not travelling on a budget. When I return to Hanoi, I will stay at the Skylark.

“Great hotel”

The staff greeted us with a welcome drink. They were efficient and friendly. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable. Air cond and everything worked fine. This is important if it is in summer coz the temperature here can soar to the 40s and the humidity will kill you. We had to leave the hotel at 5.30 am and the staff packed take away breakfast for us to take to the airport.

That was really a welcomed surprise. The hotel is located walking distance from several nice restaurants and the night market which is great coz you can shop for a lot of thing which come pretty cheap there. I highly recommend this hotel.
