How to Get a Vietnam visa for Indians? (further information)
Indian tourists must obtain or arrange a visa before traveling to Vietnam. The most convenient way is to use the online E-visa process. Indian tourists are eligible for a multiple-entry visa for stays up to 90 days.
The application requires two photos and asks for information relating to personal and travel details, including travel dates and places of stay in Vietnam. There is a $25 USD fee, and the visa is usually processed within three working days.
Vietnam also has a visa-on-arrival system. Unlike most other visa-on-arrival systems, an approval letter must be obtained first through a recognized local tour operator for Vietnam. By booking your Vietnam tour itinerary through us, we can apply for the approval letter on your behalf.

On arrival at the airport, a $25 USD stamping fee must be paid in US dollars or Vietnam Dong.
For travelers going to the island of Phu Quoc, no visa is needed. This applies to stays of up to 30 days and is only available to tourists arriving in Phu Quoc by air and not traveling to other parts of Vietnam.

Throughout the year, the climate affects regions in Vietnam differently. For Hanoi, in the north, October to April is considered the best time to go. Temperatures are cooler and humidity lower, but the mountainous region in the north can get a little chilly from December to February.
The dry season from December to April is the best time to visit Saigon and explore the Mekong Delta. Avoiding the high heat and humidity of the wet season makes a more pleasant experience. You can cruise the Mekong River and enjoy the history and culture of Saigon.
Central Vietnam can experience heavy rains, particularly from October to December. By February, the weather has cleared, and conditions remain ideal for travel through August.
