Nihao! Welcome to Beijing, China’s capital with over 3,000 years of history. Its rich culture, bustling streets, and delicious cuisine make it one of the most popular tourist cities in China.

Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be met at the airport or train station and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. You can relax at the hotel or take a short walk through nearby streets or hutongs.

Beijing City Tour: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace (B)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at 8:00 am - 8:30 am to start your Beijing city tour. In the morning, you will visit:

1. Tiananmen Square: One of the largest public squares in the world. It is a historic and cultural landmark in the heart of Beijing. Surrounded by many important buildings, it is a must-see for experiencing the city’s history and atmosphere.
2. Forbidden City: The highlight of the day. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. As the home of 24 Chinese emperors, it offers a fascinating look into China’s royal history, culture, and magnificent ancient architecture.

Then, you will continue to visit:

1. Summer Palace: The best-preserved imperial garden in China. It is famous for its beautiful lake, elegant pavilions, and long corridors. Once used as a summer retreat by the royal family, it is a wonderful place to enjoy both Chinese garden art and imperial history.

After the tour, your tour guide will escort you to the hotel for a good rest.

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am – 8:30 am. In the morning, you will visit:

1. Temple of Heaven: A masterpiece of Ming dynasty architecture. It is a sacred site where emperors once prayed for good harvests. With its unique design and deep cultural significance, it is one of the most important ancient temples in Beijing.

Then, you will head to the Great Wall for the highlight of the day:

2. Mutianyu Great Wall: The most beautiful section of the Great Wall in Beijing. It is well preserved and known for its stunning mountain scenery and fewer crowds. You can hike up the Wall or take a cable car at your own expense.

In the afternoon, on the way back to the hotel, you can stop to take some photos of Beijing’s famous Olympic sites from outside:

3. Bird’s Nest: The iconic National Stadium built for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. With its striking design, it has become one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
4. Water Cube: Also known as the National Aquatics Center, it is another famous Olympic venue. Its modern blue exterior makes it a great spot for photos.

After the tour, your tour guide will escort you to the hotel, and the rest of the day is at your leisure.

You may choose to rest at the hotel, take a short walk nearby, or make the most of your last moments in Beijing in your own way.

At the arranged time, you will be escorted to Beijing railway station for your onward journey to Xi'an.

Upon arrival at Xi'an North Railway Station, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Xi’an.

Xi’an City Tour: Terracotta Warriors, Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower (B)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at 8:00 am – 8:30 am to start your Xi’an city tour. In the morning, you will visit one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world:

1. Terracotta Warriors: Located about 35 kilometers east of Xi’an, the Terracotta Warriors are one of the most remarkable archaeological finds of the 20th century. Built over 2,000 years ago, these life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots were buried to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. It is a must-visit site to learn about China’s ancient history and the grandeur of its early civilization.

In the afternoon, you will continue your tour with:

2. Ancient City Wall: The best-preserved ancient city walls in China and one of the most impressive city walls in the world. You can walk or cycle along the wall and enjoy a different view of Xi’an while taking in the grandeur of this ancient military defense system.

At night, when the city lights come on, you will visit Xi’an’s famous landmarks:

3. Bell Tower: A symbol of Xi’an and one of the city’s most iconic historical buildings. Built during the Ming Dynasty, it stands in the center of the city and is especially beautiful when illuminated at night.
4. Drum Tower: Another well-known landmark of Xi’an, located near the Bell Tower. With its grand traditional architecture and long history, it is an important part of the city’s cultural heritage.

Optional: If you are interested, a famous Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Dinner can be arranged for you. You may ask your tour guide to add this experience.

Upon arrival in Huangshan, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Huangshan downtown for check-in.

The rest of the day is free for you to relax and prepare for the mountain tour on the next day.

Mt. Huangshan Tour: Yellow Mountains & West Sea Grand Canyon (B)

After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at 8:00 am – 8:30 am to start the day of the Yellow Mountains tour.

Upon arrival at the foot of Mt. Huangshan, you will take a cable car up to the mountain area and begin your exploration of one of China’s most famous mountain ranges.

1. Mt. Huangshan: Famous for its breathtaking granite peaks, ancient pine trees, and ever-changing sea of clouds, Mt. Huangshan is one of the most celebrated natural wonders in China. Its dramatic scenery has inspired Chinese painters and poets for centuries.
2. West Sea Grand Canyon: One of the most spectacular parts of Mt. Huangshan, this scenic area is known for its deep valleys, strange rock formations, and magnificent panoramic views. It is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the mountain landscape.

After the visit, you will take the cable car down and return to Huangshan downtown.

Today, you will visit two of the most representative cultural sites in the Huangshan area:

1. Hongcun Ancient Village: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hongcun is famous for its well-preserved Huizhou-style architecture, peaceful ponds, and picturesque countryside scenery. It offers a vivid glimpse into traditional village life in ancient China.
2. Huizhou Ancient City: One of the best-preserved ancient cities in China, Huizhou Ancient City in Shexian County is known for its old streets, traditional residences, memorial arches, and rich Huizhou culture. It is a great place to learn more about the history and heritage of the region.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Huangshan downtown.

1. Oriental Pearl TV Tower: One of the most iconic landmarks in Shanghai and the third-tallest TV tower in the world. Its second main sphere features a transparent sightseeing gallery, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Huangpu River through the glass floor and feel as if you are walking in the clouds.
2. Shanghai Historical Development Museum: Located beneath the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, this museum offers a comprehensive introduction to the development of Shanghai and its surrounding areas. Its exhibits cover more than 6,000 years of history, from ancient cultures to the city’s transformation into a treaty port and its later modern development.

Then, you will continue with:

3. Huangpu River Cruise (daytime): One of the best ways to experience both old and new Shanghai. As you cruise along the river, you can enjoy sweeping views of the historic Bund on one side and the modern skyline of Pudong on the other.
