“A famous hotel with a bomb shelter”

A wonderful hotel in a great location and every service you could expect or want in a luxury hotel in Hanoi. The hotel has an enormous history over the past ~110 years and it is the choice of many guests…from Presidents from many countries to people like Brad Pitt and Mark Zuckerberg. Excellent atmosphere, décor, restaurants, shopping and service. You can even be tempted to check out your favorite watch store or French pastries.
The hidden delight is the private tour of the hotel's history and Vietnam War bomb shelter that was only uncovered 3 years ago. This free tour for guests is a 45 minute gem of history and education that was a delight in our stay.

I have stayed at this hotel a few years back but still I cannot forget how beautiful it is. The rooms are a mix of French and Vietnamese and the bathroom has both a tub and a separate shower in a separate bathroom. Breakfast is perfect and the Staff very friendly. I hope I will get a chance to go there again.
