Welcome to Yangon! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to hotel for check-in. Have a good rest and expect the upcoming journey.

In the evening, enjoy a Myanmar royal style welcome dinner on a floating marble boat.

Day 2 Yangon Full Day City Tour

Start the day with a circular train ride in Yangon. On the train, you can enjoy a variety of insights into the local life and interact with some locals to make the most of the journey. After that, visit the famous Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple, home to a 66-meter long reclining Buddha, and shoot photos at the picturesque Karaweik Hall royal floating barge.

Have some rest after lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your free time to wander the Bogyoke Market. Then stroll around the busy streets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finally, end today’s tour with an amazing sunset view at Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Yangon.

Day 3 Yangon Excursion to Thanlyin

After breakfast, transfer to Thanlyin, which is located across the Bago River from Yangon.

The 270-meter long bridge spanning the river makes a 45-minute drive possible from Yangon to Thanlyin. Thanlyin once was a trading port occupied by the Portuguese in early 17th Century. The old buildings still stand in the evidence of the days of Portuguese occupation. Pay a visit to Kyaik Khauk Pagoda and Kyauktan Yele Pagoda.

After a sumptuous dinner at the local restaurant, drive back to Yangon.

Day 4 Yangon to Kyaiktiyo, Golden Rock

Hotel: Kyaik Hto Hotel (3 star)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kyaiktiyo, an important pilgrim town in Mon State about 200 km from Yangon, to visit the amazing Golden Rock, a golden boulder and pagoda balancing over a cliff. En route, you will pay a visit to Kyakhat Wine Monastery where young monks live and learn Buddha's literature.

To atop the mountain that the Golden Rock stands, you need to walk up, which takes around 45 minutes. Alternatives like a sedan chair and cable car are available. However, if your fitness is not in trouble, we advise you to go up on foot to enjoy the beautiful overlooking landscapes.

Overnight in Kyaiktiyo.

Day 5 Kyaiktiyo to Yangon, Bago

Meals: B / L / D

Today, you will head back to Yangon. On the way, make a stop at Bago, where you will tour Shwemawdaw Pagoda at a height of 114 m, holding the record as the tallest pagoda in Burma. Then visit Kanbawzathadi Palace to dream back to ancient Myanmar in the 16th century, followed by Shwethalyaung Temple that is said to be the second-largest reclining Buddha over the world, and Kyaik Pun Pagoda known as the home to the Four Seated Buddha shrine.

Before finally reaching Yangon, take your time to see Taukkyan War Cemetery in the village of Taukkyan, which is a cemetery built for the soldiers died in battle in Burma during the Second World War. After that, continue go back to Yangon.

Day 6 Yangon Excursion to Twante

Meals: B / L / D

Hotel: The Strand Yangon (5 star)

Today, transfer to Twante, an ideal place for you to get away from the city and discover new cultures and traditions.

Upon arrival, walk along the peaceful streets to a local market. You can see various products sold here. After lunch, visit a pottery workshop, where you can see a lot of pottery and learn how to transform the clay into all-purpose items. Then visit Shwesandaw Pagoda. It is said a couple of Buddha’s hairs are kept here. Finally, return back to Yangon.

Day 7 Yangon Departure

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement

Today transfer to Yangon International Airport for your flight home.
