The 10 days Myanmar trekking tour in Chin State allows you to trek through the beautiful mountainous landscapes from Mindat to Kanpetlet, as well as conquer the 3180 meters high Mount Victoria.
Except for extraordinary nature, the trek offers several Chin hill tribes for your exploration. Spend your days in the hills and villages talking to the locals to learn their culture and ways of life.

Welcome to Mandalay! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Then enjoy your free time.
You can stroll around the Mandalay Palace, the last royal palace of the last Burma king. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery, built in the 19th century, which is well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths.

Transfer to airport for flight to Bagan in the early morning. Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport.
In Bagan, you will be amazed by the thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread on the plain. These pagodas used to own by individual families during its prosperous time.
You will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where local people buying and selling food for daily life. Then head for the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.
Have a rest at the hotel during the hottest time in the afternoon. Then it's time to enjoy a Horse Cart Ride for the sunset! You can climb up to the top of the Shwesandaw Pagoda for sunset and then take the horse cart back to the hotel. It will be an unforgettable memory of taking the horse cart ride to travel through the pagodas when it is quiet in the dusk.

Today, rise up early and drive to Mindat. As the dawn smashes, cross the Ayeyarwaddy River. Trek through the villages of Paik and Kyatko, then climb up to Chin Mountains and finally reach Mindat town that locates on a mountain ridge at an altitude of 1600 meters.

In the morning, explore Mindat market where villagers from surrounding areas come to trade their farm produce. Then drive down to a suspension bridge built by the British, from which you start your trekking tour.
Cross the quiet valley, then pass by Loat Pe village and eventually you arrive at Kyardo village. Stroll around the small village to mingle with the rustic villagers and learn about local culture and lifestyle.

After breakfast, set on the dirt trails through several chin villages and plantations of corn, avocado, bean and tea. Followed by an uphill trek to the mountain road that connects Mindat and Kanpetlet snaking through the jungles of Mount Victoria National Park.

Today, trek through the rhododendron and pine forests in Mount Victoria National Park. You can also spot Mithun, the semi-wild mountain cattle. Stop at Htan Om village for lunch.

Today, you will challenge the uphill trek to Mt. Victoria with an elevation of 3180 meters.
Your trek gains altitude slowly, offering amazing overlooking views of the lower-lying fields of Chin villages, and then enter the rhododendron forest, with moss and lichen covered the ground. You can see rare plant species, orchids and bird species thrive.
Over Mt. Christian, you conquer the over 3000m high Mt. Victoria. Then drive to Kanpetlet.

Before driving down from the mountain to Saw town, walk around Kanpetlet to enjoy the stunning mountainous scenery.

Our 18-day private tour for two couples through Thailand and Siem Reap/Cambodia was nothing short of epic. From the initial planning with clear, responsive communication, we knew we were in expert hands.

My wife and I were in Burma November 15-19 and we travelled around the city of Yangon to see the fabulous Schwedagon Pagoda and the old colonial buildings. We flew from Yangon to Mandalay the next morning to catch a glimpse of the many pagodas that dotted this former capital.
Our very gracious tour guides Winthu and Sithu were just an example of how to be a good host.they made sure to provide everything that we need.and they both know their country’s History and culture as well.local food is delicious.places that we’ve been through are safe.thank you Indochine Tours for arranging our tour in Burma.
Our trip was faultless. Every aeroplane, train and boat were on time as were all our guides and drivers.The standard of hotels and vehicles were very good and the drivers excellent. Our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our trip included lots of cultural experiences as well as the expected visits to the usual tourist sites. We enjoyed watching traditional dancing,boat trips, a massage, kayaking, karaoke, circus skills, puppet shows as well as several dinners with a show.
The food was excellent and Kea and Amara planned us an excellent itinerary. We had almost instant responses from them to any queries before our trip, and they ensured we knew of any changes of arrangements promptly. (One hotel had flooding &we were given an excellent replacement hotel with no stress for us at all) Our guides were sensitive to ensuring our visits to Temples etc were as crowd-free as was possible but allowed us plenty of time to absorb our surroundings/ museum exhibits and info etc.
We cannot praise Indochina Tours enough and were very impressed with Kea and Amara's inputs.
We are two woman whose husbands want the security of us traveling with a competent driver and guide! And we felt like rock stars scooped up from the airport and they ensured every day would be the best experience for us. Kea put so much careful work in to our itinerary, but it was the driver and guide who pivoted the schedule to make the most of our time.
Somehow we dodged two big storms because of their conscientious attention to detail. Our guide saw many hikers slipped in the mud, so he rerouted us. He wanted us to see the Golden Hand Bridge in good weather so adjusted that schedule too. Every hotel was gorgeous and we felt like they were happy to see us. The guides spoke great English and really added so much knowledge and laughter to our tour. We felt so cared for and privileged to do this tour!
From start to finish this was an excellent experience. First time with a private and will certainly consider doing another. Everything thing was first class and as regular small group Travellers we can highly recommend Pheakdey and Kea and Indochina tours.
Indochina Tour designed our trip of 20 days to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Some days we had private tour guides ((they were the best and their English was very good) or we joined another tour for a day with a group of tourists. The guides and the drivers that took us to the airports, train station , cruise ship etc.. were always on time and very polite.
Our different advisors in the Head Quarters in Siem Reap and other locations, always answered our questions and solved any issues (e.g flooding in Hoi An as we needed to change the hotel).
