The Most Classic Vietnam Laos Trip Itinerary
This 15-day tour is the best and classic itinerary to travel Vietnam and Laos, taking you to discover the historic cities and stunning landscapes in both countries. This journey starts from the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City and goes on to the most beautiful attractions in north Vietnam. Then visit Laos to unveil the thriving Buddhist culture and fabulous remote villages.
Day 1-3: Saigon and Mekong Delta in Vietnam
You first arrive in Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City and check in hotel to have a rest to refresh from the long international fly. Investigate the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels to get a better understanding of the Vietnam War. Have a city tour to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, Emperor Jade Pagoda and War Remnants Museum. Get into the Mekong Delta to enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market and gain an insight of the local life along the river.

Day 4-6: Hue & Hoi An
On your fourth day in Vietnam, you will fly north to Danang to visit Hue and Hoi An Ancient Town. Then take a ride to Hoi An to visit the traditional houses and temples. Have a walking tour to take a look at the amazing Japanese Bridge in the town. It is necessary to spend another day in Hoi An for shopping and more exploration. In Hue, you will discover the historic sites, including the Citadel and the Thien Mu Pagoda.

Day 7- 9: Fly to Hanoi and enjoy Halong Bay Cruise
On the seventh day, you will transfer Danang Airport to take the flight to Hanoi. First have a Halong Bay cruise to enjoy thousands of limestone islands and islets, as well as hidden beaches, limestone grotto and tiny fishing villages. A city tour in Hanoi to enjoy a delightful water puppet show, visit the ancient Temple of Literature and wander on the hustle and bustle streets.

Day 10-11: Vientiane
Fly to Laos capital, Vientiane in the morning to explore the famous landmarks in the city, including the COPE Center, Wat Pha That Luang, Wat Prakeo and the Patuxai Monument. Visit the weaving workshop to discover the art of Laos silk.

Day 12-15: Luang Prabang & Pak Ou Caves
Fly to Luang Prabang on the twelfth day, then wander the city leisurely. If you want to know something about the culture in Laos, you can take part in the alms ritual in the morning. Then have a half day to Kuang Si Waterfalls. In the afternoon, have a city tour in Luang Prabang to visit the Wat Xiengthong, Royal Palace Museum and the Wat Aham Temple. Your last but one day in Luang Prabang, you may want to take a tour to have a boat trip along the Mekong River to the Buddha-filled Pak Ou Caves. Then back to Luang Prabang to discover this charming city. On your last, prepare for your departure transfer.
