Day 1: Saigon Arrival

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Saigon, your guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city or relax at your hotel. If you arrive in the morning or afternoon, your guide can recommend some optional activities such as visiting local markets, trying Vietnamese street food or visiting the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your full-day Saigon city tour. Your first stop is the Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of French colonial architecture. You will also visit the Central Post Office, designed by Gustave Eiffel, which still functions as a working post office today. Next, you will head to the Reunification Palace, which was the headquarters of the South Vietnamese government during the Vietnam War. You will also visit the War Remnants Museum, which showcases the brutal effects of the war from the perspective of the Vietnamese people. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and watch a traditional water puppet show.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Con Dao Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will explore some of the islands surrounding Con Dao on a boat trip. You will visit various islands such as Bay Canh, Tre Lon and Bai Dua, depending on the weather and sea conditions. You will have the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and admire the stunning marine life. Your guide will take you to the best spots to observe colorful corals and tropical fish. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Today, you will embark on a trek to So Ray Plantation, a beautiful forested area on Con Dao Island. After breakfast, your guide will take you to the starting point of the trek. You will walk along a scenic trail, passing through lush vegetation and streams, before reaching the plantation. Here, you can relax on the beach and go snorkeling in the clear waters. You can explore the surrounding area or simply relax on the beach and take in the peaceful atmosphere. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

After breakfast, you will embark on a challenging trek to Yen Ngua Mountain, the highest peak on Con Dao Island. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the starting point of the trek. The trek will take you through dense jungle, steep ascents, and breathtaking vistas. You will pass through various ecosystems such as mangrove forests and bamboo groves. Along the way, you will have the chance to spot various bird species such as the black-naped oriole or the pied hornbill. Once you reach the summit, you will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the island. You can rest and enjoy a picnic lunch before descending to the base of the mountain. In the evening, you can enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
