After breakfast, your tour guide will meet you at 8:00 am – 8:30 am to start your Xi’an city tour. In the morning, you will visit one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world:
1. Terracotta Warriors: Located about 35 kilometers east of Xi’an, the Terracotta Warriors are one of the most remarkable archaeological finds of the 20th century. Built over 2,000 years ago, these life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots were buried to guard the tomb of China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. It is a must-visit site to learn about China’s ancient history and the grandeur of its early civilization.
In the afternoon, you will continue your tour with:
2. Ancient City Wall: The best-preserved ancient city walls in China and one of the most impressive city walls in the world. You can walk or cycle along the wall and enjoy a different view of Xi’an while taking in the grandeur of this ancient military defense system.
At night, when the city lights come on, you will visit Xi’an’s famous landmarks:
3. Bell Tower: A symbol of Xi’an and one of the city’s most iconic historical buildings. Built during the Ming Dynasty, it stands in the center of the city and is especially beautiful when illuminated at night.
4. Drum Tower: Another well-known landmark of Xi’an, located near the Bell Tower. With its grand traditional architecture and long history, it is an important part of the city’s cultural heritage.
Optional: If you are interested, a famous Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Dinner can be arranged for you. You may ask your tour guide to add this experience.
After the tour, your tour guide will escort you to the hotel for a good rest.
