Firstly, stay in downtown Yangon to soak up in its complicated culture, a mix of British colonial history, Buddhist traditional and national beauty. Never miss the amazing sunset over Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda of Yangon.

Then head for Kyaiktiyo, where the famous Golden Rock is located. It is a giant rock painted with gold that amazingly balances over a cliff on Mount Kyaiktiyo.

While getting back to Yangon, stop at Bago, in which you will visit much Buddhist architecture such as Shwethalyaung Temple, the second largest reclining Buddha in the world.

Day 1

Yangon Arrival

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on requests

Welcome to Yangon! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel for check-in.

After a short rest, start your Yangon city tour at the historic Post Office, followed by Strand Hotel, Mahabandoola Garden and Independence Monument. Next visit the famous Chaukhtatgyi Buddha Temple, home to a 66-meter long reclining Buddha, and shoot photos at the picturesque Karaweik Hall royal floating barge.

Then end today’s tour with an amazing sunset view at Shwedagon Pagoda, the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Yangon.

Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2

Yangon to Kyaiktiyo, Golden Rock

Meals: B

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kyaiktiyo, an important pilgrim town in Mon State about 200 km from Yangon, to visit the amazing Golden Rock, a golden boulder and pagoda balancing over a cliff. En route, you will pay a visit to Kyakhat Wine Monastery where young monks live and learn Buddha's literature.

To atop the mountain that the Golden Rock stands, you need to walk up, which takes around 45 minutes. Alternatives like a sedan chair and cable car are available. However, if your fitness is not in trouble, we advise you to go up on foot to enjoy the beautiful overlooking landscapes.

Overnight in Kyaiktiyo.

Day 3

Kyaiktiyo to Yangon, Bago

Meals: B

Today, you will head back to Yangon. On the way, make a stop at Bago, where you will tour Shwemawdaw Pagoda at a height of 114 m, holding the record as the tallest pagoda in Burma. Then visit Kanbawzathadi Palace to dream back to the ancient Myanmar in 16th century, Shwethalyaung Temple said to be the second largest reclining Buddha over the world and once got lost for over 120 years, and Kyaik Pun Pagoda known as the home to the Four Seated Buddha shrine.

Before finally reaching Yangon, take your time to see Taukkyan War Cemetery in the village of Taukkyan, which is a cemetery built for the soldiers died in battle in Burma during the Second World War. After that, continue go back to Yangon.

Overnight in Yangon.

Day 4

Yangon Departure

Flight: International flight on your own arrangement

Meals: B

In the morning, enjoy your free time to wander the Bogyoke Market. Then you will be transferred to Yangon International Airport for your flight home.

End of service.

It's Worth Every Penny!

Great communication from the start of booking. Incredible helpful communication.They arranged everything and answered questions. Met at airport with Driver and Guide that I spent 4days with them. They offer as much flexibility with your trip as you desire and are very professional in their approach. They will make a plan that fits you and your schedule. Great Experience!

Well this was a year in the planning with lots of talks with my rep Helen, to start off was my trip to Vietnam Hanoi/hoi an and oh chi min city and everything was great all the guides at each city and the trips to boot the hotels was all as expected.
