This 12 days tour will start from Angkor Wat in Cambodia to mysterious Myanmar. It allows you to explore the best of the two countries have to offer with its gorgeous temples and towers, as well as the beautiful countryside and its Buddhist pagodas.

After you arrive in Siem Reap, we'll spend two days exploring the splendid temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Then you'll take a boat tour to see the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and to the village of Kompong Phluk to learn how people adapt to life on this body of water. After that, we'll travel to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia. We'll have a half-day tour to see the Royal Palace and the National Museum.

After the tour of Cambodia, we'll fly to Myanmar. The adventure will involve visiting famous landmarks and places, and other essential attractions in Yangon, Bagan, and Mandalay, we'll get to explore the historical heritage, natural landscapes, and friendly locals.

Day 1 Welcome to Siem Reap!

Flight: International flight is on your own arrangement or upon request

Upon arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will meet up with our friendly English Speaking guide. Then, your guide will transfer to the hotel and help you check in.

The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 2 Angkor Thom Ancient Capital Day Tour

Meals: B

After breakfast, begin your explorations of the remains of an ancient civilization that once ruled much of Southeast Asia. Today, visit the ancient capital city of Angkor Thom. First on the agenda is Ta Prohm. Worn by time, rain, and overpowered by the jungle, this immaculate structure is hidden under a canopy will leave you feeling as if you’d stepped into an adventure movie set.

Then, visit Banteay Kdei ("Citadel of Chambers”). Continue on to the Victory Gate, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, and Baphuon and Bayon. Bayon sets itself apart with its almost 200 smiling faces, sure to make you feel welcomed on your second day to the Kingdom of Wonders. With its winding tunnels, chambers, and daring climbs, Bayon offers many picturesque moments to keep your camera busy.

In the late afternoon, you may enjoy an amazing sunset view from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.

Day 3 Visit Angkor Wat and Banteay Srei

Today, you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World: Angkor Wat. Entering Angkor Wat and to view its amazing architecture and history. Angkor Wat possesses some of the longest and most intricate stone carvings. This complex is four times the size of the Vatican City making it the largest religious site in the world. You are able to spend the morning exploring through the many chambers that once housed many treasures of the ancient world.

In the afternoon, continue on to the remote temple of Banteay Srei: set deep in the jungle. The Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei was carved from red sandstone, a medium that lends itself to elaborate decorative wall carvings, which are well preserved to this day. The buildings themselves are miniature in scale in comparison to the other colossal temples around Siem Reap, unusually so when measured by the standards of Angkorian construction. This temple is considered the jewel of Khmer art.

Day 4 Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk | Flight to Phnom Penh

In the morning, a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake - Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll take a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake views and mangrove forests. Spend rest of the morning at Kompong Phluk, the largest village on the lake, to discover the fascinating daily lifestyle of the local people who live on the water.

After the tour, we will take the flight to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you will be welcomed by your private local guide at the airport. And then, you will be escorted to your hotel.

Day 5 Half Day Phnom Penh City Tour | Flight to Yangon

Meals: B

Start the day with a TUK TUK ride to visit the Silver Pagoda which has 5,000 silver tiles on the floor and a visit to the Royal Palace where the Khmer royal family lives. You will also visit the National Museum where you will see the large collection of Khmer history, arts and architecture.

In the afternoon, you will take the flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will welcome you at the airport and escort you to hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 6 Full Day Yangon City Tour

Meals: B

Rise early in the morning to visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Yangon. The benefit for visiting the pagoda in the early morning is that you will enjoy a quiet and extremely peaceful atmosphere to watch local people and monks pray in front of the Pagoda.

Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Mahabandoola Park.

Have some rest after lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your free time to wander the Bogyoke Market. Then stroll around the busy streets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finish the day at the riverside where is flanked by colonize style buildings, which will give you the impression of old-time Myanmar.

Day 7 Flight to Bagan | Bagan Highlights Tour

Meals: B

Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan in the early morning. Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport and then transfer you to the hotel.

In Bagan, you will be amazed by the thousands of Buddhist pagodas spread on the plain. These pagodas used to own by individual families during its prosperous time.

You will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where local people buying food in daily life and the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda in Bagan painted with real gold.

Have a rest at the hotel during the hottest time in the afternoon. Then it's time to enjoy a Horse Cart Ride for the sunset. You can climb up to the top of the Shwesandaw Pagoda for sunset and then take the horse cart back to the hotel. It will be an unforgettable memory of taking the horse cart ride to travel through the pagodas when it is quiet in the dusk.

Day 8 Flight to Heho, Inle Lake

Meals: B

Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transfer you to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake.

Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level. Here you will enjoy different atmospheres and ambiance from the middle part of Myanmar.

After check-in hotel, enjoy your day at leisure to relax.

Day 9 Full Day Inle Lake Excursion

Meals: B

After your breakfast around 8am and take a boat trip to Inle Lake (second largest lake in Myanmar). The Intha’s lives are centered on the lake - they live in stilted houses, grow produce such as tomatoes, melons, and papayas in a unique floating gardens, and eat fish as a staple.

You will visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most highly revered monastery in the Inle Lake area. Discover the traditional handicrafts silk weaving on wooden handlooms and a blacksmith shop.

Then, continue our boat ride to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake. The Buddha statues are more than 200 years old. On the lake, you can see traditional fishing methods by using the leg rowing technique. We proceed to the floating garden - Kyun-Hmyaw, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud, dredged from the lake bed, which breaks down into a rich humus; it take 50 years to produce a layer of 1m thick. Relax and enjoy spectacular sunset views over Inle Lake before returning to hotel.

Day 10 Flight to Mandalay | Half Day City Tour

Drive to the airport for onward flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, Your local guide and driver will pick you up and bring you to have a city excursion in Mandalay.

Visit Mahamuni Image where you can see local people pray and stick the gold paper on the Buddha for a blessing. You can also try to make your wish and donate money (buy) for the gold paper to stick the gold paper on the statue (only man allowed to stick the gold).

On the way to the Mahamuni Image, pay a visit to a gold paper factory to see how people made the gold leaf. Then visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means "Golden Palace Monastery" and it was built in the 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Next, visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world's largest book of Buddhism.

Finish your day at the top of Mandalay Hill for a stunning sunset.

Day 11 Mandalay Excursion to Sagaing and Amarapura

In the morning, drive about 30 minutes to get to Sagaing which is located by the Ayeyarwady River.

Cross the Innwa Bridge that is built by the British in 1934. Firstly you will visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks lining up for daily meals at 10:15 am.

Continue to visit Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda, a dome-shaped pagoda rising up to 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda, there are 812 stone pillars, each one with a hollow and an image of a Nat in it. Followed by Sagaing Hill, with a number of small pagodas and meditation centers. Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda also sits here. You can stop at a monastery and talk with monks while taking a cup of green tea.

Lunch at a local restaurant in Sagaing and take a short break. Then head to Amarapura, known as the City of Immortality, situates 11 km to the south of Mandalay. Here you will first visit the U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 kilometers long and turns out to be the longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Then visit to Bagaya Monastery that is decorated with splendid Burmese architectural works such as carvings, floral arabesques, curved figurines and the reliefs of birds and animals. Then go to Nagayon Temple. The roof of the temple is draped by the naga Mucalinda, who protected the Buddha from the elements while achieving enlightenment.

Drive back to Mandalay and enjoy your free time.

Day 12 Farewell from Mandalay
