10 Days Vietnamese Culinary Adventure

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, your local tour guide and driver will welcome you at the airport. Then, the guide will escort you to the hotel and help you check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

You can visit the Hanoi night market in the evening to try out some local street food, including famous dishes such as Banh Mi and Pho.

After breakfast at one of the famous Pho restaurants such as Pho Thin or Pho Bat Dan, you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to learn about the life of the Vietnamese leader. The mausoleum is located in Ba Dinh Square and popular tourist attraction.

Following the visit, you will have lunch at Bun Cha Huong Lien, one of the best places in Hanoi to try Bun Cha. In the afternoon, you will take a cooking class to learn how to make Vietnamese dishes. You will end the day with a visit to the Water Puppet Theatre to experience a traditional Vietnamese art form.

On this day, you will take a flight to Hue and check into your hotel. After settling in, you will have lunch at one of the city’s best Bun Bo Hue restaurants, such as Bun Bo Ganh. After lunch, you will visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue and the Thien Mu Pagoda. In the evening, you can try some of the local street food at Dong Ba Market.

After breakfast, you will visit the Hue Royal Tombs to learn about the history of the Nguyen dynasty. The tombs are situated along the Perfume River and are known for their ornate architecture and intricate details.

Following the visit, you will have lunch at Ngu Ha, a restaurant that specializes in Hue-style cuisine. In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip on the Perfume River to see the local countryside. You will end the day with a visit to a traditional Hue-style music show.

On this day, you will take a flight to Nha Trang and check into your hotel. After settling in, you will have lunch at Lac Canh, a restaurant famous for its grilled meat dishes. In the afternoon, you will visit the Long Son Pagoda and the Po Nagar Cham Towers, which are both cultural and historical landmarks in the city.

You will have the rest of the day to relax at the hot springs at Thap Ba or the beach in Nha Trang before having dinner at Lanterns Restaurant, known for its fresh seafood dishes.

After breakfast, you will start the day by trying Banh Xeo, a crispy rice flour pancake filled with shrimp and bean sprouts. You will then visit the Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography to learn about marine life in Vietnam.

In the afternoon, you will take a boat trip to Hon Mun Island for snorkeling and swimming. You will have lunch at a local seafood restaurant such as Ngon Villa or Skewers, before ending the day with a visit to the Nha Trang Night Market.

On this day, you will take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City and check into your hotel. After settling in, you will have lunch at Pho Hoa Pasteur, one of the best places in Ho Chi Minh City for Pho.

In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum to learn about the Vietnam War from the Vietnamese perspective. In the evening, you will visit the Saigon Opera House to experience a cultural show, such as the AO Show or the Water Puppet Show.

After breakfast, you will visit the Reunification Palace to learn about the history of Vietnam and its leaders. You will then have lunch at Bun Mam Soc Trang, a restaurant famous for its Bun Mam dish.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the underground network used by the Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. You will have the rest of the day to explore the city, perhaps by visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral or the Bitexco Financial Tower for a panoramic view of the city skyline.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

On this day, you will take a day trip to the Mekong Delta region to explore the floating markets, orchards, and local villages. You can visit the Cai Rang floating market and see how locals trade goods on the river. You will have lunch at a local homestay or restaurant in the Mekong Delta region to try some traditional dishes such as Canh Chua or Hu Tieu. You will take a boat ride through the canals of the Mekong River and see the local scenery before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening.

On your final day in Vietnam, you will have a final breakfast of your favorite Vietnamese dish before checking out of your hotel. You will have some time to do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs at the Ben Thanh Market or other local markets before departing for your next destination with unforgettable memories of your Vietnamese food travel adventure!
