11 Days Discovering Vietnam Food Tour

Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you'll be greeted by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. After checking in, you'll have some time to relax and adjust to the time difference. In the evening, you can explore the city on your own, try some local street food or just rest and prepare for your exciting tour.

After breakfast, your tour guide will take you on a city tour of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. You'll start by visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can pay your respects to the beloved Vietnamese leader. Then you'll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, an important cultural and religious site in Hanoi. Next, you'll visit the Temple of Literature, which was built in the 11th century and is Vietnam's first national university.

Afterward, you'll head to Hanoi's Old Quarter, exploring the narrow streets and alleys and seeing how the locals live. You'll also visit a noodle factory and learn how to make "Pho Bo," one of the most famous Vietnamese dishes. Then, you'll visit a local market and try some of Hanoi famous street food.

In the evening, you'll attend a traditional Water Puppet Show, a unique and entertaining form of Vietnamese folk art. You'll also have dinner at a local restaurant and try some more delicious Vietnamese food.

After breakfast, you'll leave Hanoi and head to the countryside. Your first stop will be Tay Phuong, a village famous for its beautiful pagoda and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Then, you'll continue to Duong Lam, an ancient village with a rich history and culture.

In Duong Lam, you'll visit the Mong Phu hamlet, where you can see traditional Vietnamese houses made of wood and brick. You'll also visit a tofu-making factory and learn about the process of making this popular Vietnamese food. Finally, you'll explore the green rice fields and local villages before returning to Hanoi for the evening.

After breakfast, you'll leave Hanoi and head to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Vietnam’s most stunning natural wonders. On arrival, you'll board a traditional junk boat and start your cruise around the bay.

You'll see the breathtaking scenery of limestone cliffs and islands rising from the emerald waters and visit some of the most famous caves and grottoes. You'll also have the chance to swim, kayak in the bay’s crystal-clear waters, and enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board. You'll watch the sunset over the bay in the evening before spending the night on the boat.

You’ll wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast on the boat, you'll return to the harbor and then drive back to Hanoi. From there, you'll take a flight to Da Nang. Then you will be driven to Hoi An, a charming ancient town on the central coast of Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, you'll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day free to explore the town on your own or relax at the beach.

After breakfast, we will start our day with a visit to the fish market near Hoi An, where you can observe the daily activities of local fishermen and experience their way of life. Next, we will head to Cao Lau Restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious Vietnamese dish made from local ingredients.

We will then visit Tra Que Herb Village, where you can learn about traditional farming techniques and pick herbs for later cooking. Afterward, we will visit a bread factory to see how Hoi An's famous baguettes are made. Finally, we will take a walking tour to Hoi An ancient town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can admire the town's unique architecture and cultural significance.

Today, we will visit Tho Ha, a local market that is known for its vibrant atmosphere and a wide variety of fresh produce. We will then take a leisurely walk across the Cam Nam Bridge and explore Cam Nam Island, where you can witness the daily activities of the locals. Later, we will take a cruise along the Thu Bon River, where you can enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

After breakfast, we will leave Hoi An and travel to Saigon. On the way, we will stop at Da Nang to visit Cho Lon, a famous market that is popular among the locals. We will also visit Thien Hau Pagoda, a beautiful temple that is dedicated to the goddess of the sea.

After we arrive in Saigon, we will take a night food tour where you can taste some of the most delicious Vietnamese dishes that the city has to offer.

Today, we will visit Cu Chi Tunnel, a network of underground tunnels that the Vietnamese soldiers used during the Vietnam War. Here, you can learn about the history of the war and experience what it was like to live in the tunnels.

Later, we will have a cooking class where you can learn how to cook some of Vietnam's most popular dishes under the guidance of a professional chef.

Overnight in Saigon.

Today, we will travel to the Mekong River Delta, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat cruise to Thoi Son Island. Here, you can explore the island and learn about the daily lives of the locals. We will also visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a beautiful temple that is known for its stunning architecture and peaceful atmosphere.
